Chris’s Work at KKOS Lawyers
- I am the founder of TKO Law & Advocacy, a practice group focused on legislative and regulatory advocacy. Our team works through the political process to help clients establish and maintain the legal and regulatory frameworks necessary for their businesses to operate freely, expand, and thrive. I have been repeatedly recognized by Utah Business Magazine among Utah Legal Elite in the area of Government Relations.
- I have represented business clients on Utah’s Capitol Hill through 27 general legislative sessions, dozens of special sessions, and hundreds of interim committee meetings. My team engages in all aspects of legislative and regulatory advocacy, including bill analysis, policy strategy, legislative drafting, coalition-building, campaign strategy, fundraising, PAC administration, and direct lobbying. We help business leaders navigate complex legal and political issues shaping their industries.

Outside of KKOS
- I enjoy a wide range of outdoor and recreational pursuits and jokingly refer to myself as having RAD “recreational attention disorder.” I am an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, fly fishing, boating, hunting, overlanding, dirt biking, four-wheeling, shooting sports, and time in the mountains. I also enjoy golf, tennis, surfing, scuba and skin diving, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, music, art, architecture, horticulture, history, and playing piano — and someday hope to learn the harmonica.
- I value opportunities to serve in my community and church, and I am an enthusiastic supporter of BYU athletics. Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our five children, and their spouses.
- Is also a member of the American Bar Association and the American Society of Association Executives.
- My loyal sidekick is a Beagle named Harley, who howls every afternoon when I get home and is always nearby while I’m turning wrenches on a new project in the garage or heading out on a new adventure.
