Kristan is a licensed California attorney. She was born and raised in Northern California, attending CSU, Chico for undergraduate school, and University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law to obtain her Juris Doctorate. Kristan moved her practice to San Diego, California, in 2012 and relocated in early 2020 to Scottsdale, Arizona.
Drawing from her former position as General Corporate Counsel for a multi-million-dollar corporation, Kristan assists clients with business entity selection and formation, business contracts, partnership law, business purchases and sales, shareholder and director issues, and general legal issues arising from day-to-day business operations. Kristan is also an experienced assets protection attorney with over 15 years of experience drafting estate planning documents designed to protect clients and their assets. Kristan had her own successful law practice since 1994 until she was hired as an Administrative Law Judge for the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Department of Appeals in early 2020.
However, upon learning of an opening at KKOS Lawyers, she decided to use her prior skills and expertise to assist the firm’s growing clientele. Kristan’s free time is spent golfing, on the waterways, traveling, and enjoying live music wherever it may be.
